License Terms

USG Studio sells and publishes its own digital products, templates, UI kits, developer tools, free resources, and software. This page explains how licenses work across the catalog. Where a product page lists a more specific license, that product page controls.

1. Who we are

USG Studio is an independent digital products and software studio. We create, own, and sell the items listed on this storefront. We are not a third-party marketplace for other creators' uploads.

Checkout and digital delivery for paid products are handled through Polar.sh. License rights below apply to your use of USG Studio products after a valid purchase or free download.

Free downloads subject to the free-resource rules on this page.

Software & SaaS

Apps we operate. Access is licensed; not a transferable source pack by default.

3. Digital product licenses

Unless a product page says otherwise, paid digital products use one of the license types below. The type shown on the product (and on your order) is the one that applies.

Personal

For individual creators and personal projects.

Allowed

  • Use in unlimited personal / non-commercial projects
  • Modify the product for your own use
  • Use for learning, portfolios, and private experiments

Not allowed

  • Use in client work or commercial products
  • Redistribute, resell, or share source files
  • Offer the product as a template, starter, or competing asset

Commercial

For freelancers, studios, and commercial products.

Allowed

  • Use in unlimited end products for yourself or clients
  • Modify and adapt the product for shipped work
  • Use in SaaS, apps, sites, and digital products you sell

Not allowed

  • Redistribute or resell the original source / pack
  • Share access with teams beyond a single seat unless stated
  • Publish the product as a free or paid template for others

Extended

For broader distribution and multi-seat / agency needs.

Allowed

  • Everything in Commercial
  • Use across multiple seats within one company when stated on the product
  • Include derivative work in products sold to multiple customers

Not allowed

  • Resell or re-license the unmodified product pack
  • Transfer the license without written permission
  • Use that conflicts with a product-specific addendum

4. Free resources

Free resources from USG Studio grant a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use and modify the files in personal and commercial end products, unless the product page states additional restrictions.

You may not:

  • Redistribute the free pack as a competing free or paid download
  • Claim authorship of the original USG Studio work
  • Remove copyright or attribution notices required on the product page

5. Software & SaaS

Software and SaaS listed under Apps are licensed for access and use of the running service (and any client apps we provide), not as an open transfer of all source code, unless a product explicitly includes a source license.

Subscriptions, seat limits, usage limits, and feature availability follow the product page and your Polar / billing plan. Accounts may not be shared in a way that bypasses seat or plan limits.

Beta or “coming soon” products may change, pause, or end without converting into a perpetual source-code license.

6. Ownership

USG Studio and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the products. Your purchase grants a license to use the product under these terms — it does not transfer ownership of the underlying copyright, trademarks, or brand assets.

You retain ownership of your own content, data, and customizations that you create with or inside a product, subject to third-party rights and these license limits.

7. Updates & support

Product updates, if offered, are described on the product page. A license does not guarantee lifetime updates, custom development, or dedicated support unless explicitly sold as part of that product.

Compatibility notes (frameworks, platforms, browsers) are informational. You are responsible for verifying fit for your stack before purchase.

8. Prohibited use

Across all USG Studio products, you may not:

  • Violate applicable law or third-party rights
  • Circumvent license, download, or access controls
  • Use products to build competing template marketplaces that redistribute our files
  • Misrepresent affiliation with USG Studio
  • Remove or obscure notices we require on a product page

9. Refunds & delivery

Digital delivery, invoices, and customer portal access are provided through Polar.sh. Refund eligibility follows Polar's policies and any product-specific notes. A refund, when issued, terminates the associated license for that purchase.

10. Termination

If you breach these terms or a product-specific license, your license may end immediately. Upon termination you must stop using the product and destroy copies obtained under that license, except where law requires retention.
